A Pretest diagnoses students' strengths and weaknesses, and guides their placement in the (STAMS) Strategy To Achieve Mathematics Success program. Pretest results will be compared to Post Test results to measure a student's progress.
Benchmark tests will be administered on the same 16 concepts and skills to progress monitor the student.
Self-assessments are also given to prompt students to reflect on their thinking and to set goals.
