Testimonials

"Renee Voce was instrumental in setting my 5th grader up for success in middle school.  Under her instruction his math scores improved to the highest percentage of improvement in 6 years of testing.  Mrs. Voce instilled a love of learning and enthusiasm for the work, that also improved his writing and general work habits in and out of the classroom.  My child has thrived in middle school and continues to build off the ground work he built with Mrs. Voce. She is exceptional at individual instruction and implementing different styles of teaching for different styles of learning. Her approach to teaching students has made a world of difference for our son."

"Everything Mrs. Voce teaches sticks in your head because she makes it very fun. She is incredibly smart and supportive of her students. Her teaching is very interactive and her priority is the happiness of her students, and that in turn made me want to learn more!"

- Jackson Porter

"I was a CCD teacher aide for Renee for several years and was also a parent with students in her class.  I saw first hand the heart and soul Renee puts into her work and her students.  She was constantly changing her educational mediums to keep all of the students engaged and involved.  She made learning fun and was always so positive will all the students.  The kids loved her, learned a lot, and retained the information!"

As the Reading Specialist at Emerick Elementary School I had the distinct pleasure of working with Mrs. Renee Voce . What stands out most in my mind is her ability to determine each student’s needs and develop a program based on that student’s abilities. Mrs. Voce made each student feel successful. Her enthusiasm and energy about learning is contagious. The classroom environment was inviting. In the back corner was a treehouse filled with cushions and pillows where students would go to read. The desks were grouped in tables of four creating a team. This team approach encouraged peer support. Mrs. Voce’s classroom was always well organized-creating a perfect environment for learning.

Mrs. Voce focused on designing specialized reading programs for her students. She addressed the needs of the students reading above grade level as well as the students requiring remediation. She looked for the strengths in every student .

I wholeheartedly recommend Mrs Voce’s Young Scholars’ Academy to all students wanting to grow academically and develop a love for learning.
